What a creator referral program is
A referral link creator tool gives you a personal link. When another creator signs up through it and starts selling, the platform pays you a share of what they earn for a set period. OnlyFans has a referral program of this kind. Its exact terms are set by OnlyFans and can change, so check their current help pages rather than relying on anyone's summary.
On OmgFans the terms are short and fixed, and they are written below in full.
How the OmgFans referral program pays
| Term | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Your share | 5% of the referred creator's earnings |
| How long | 12 months from when they join through your link |
| Who pays it | OmgFans, out of its own 20% platform fee |
| What the referred creator keeps | 80%, exactly as without a referral |
| When you get paid | With your regular earnings, on the normal payout schedule |
| Plan needed | None |
Referral earnings are one of the eight ways to earn on OmgFans. They sit next to subscriptions, PPV posts, paid messages, tips, live tickets, live tips and limited drops in your dashboard. If you want to see the full picture, run your numbers in the earnings calculator.
How to get your referral link
- Sign up as a creator and complete age and ID verification.
- Open your creator dashboard and go to the referrals section.
- Copy your personal link and share it where creators you know will see it.
- Track signups and referral earnings in the same section.
Share it in a group chat with creator friends, in a newsletter for other coaches, or on a post about how you run your page. The people most likely to join are those who already ask you how you do it.
Referral rules that keep the program fair
The program pays for real creators who really earn. These rules apply to every link.
- No self-referrals. Your own second account does not count.
- No fake accounts or accounts created only to collect referral earnings.
- No spam. Do not send your link in unsolicited messages, comment floods or bought lists.
- The referred creator must pass age and ID verification before anything is paid.
- Referral earnings follow the referred creator's real earnings, so refunds or reversals on their side reduce them too.
Breaking these rules ends referral earnings for the link and can close the account. Our content policy and terms cover the details.
A worked example of referral earnings
Hypothetical: you refer a cosplay creator named Jo. In her first month, fans pay her $1,000 across subscriptions, PPV posts and tips.
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Fan payments to Jo | $1,000 |
| Platform fee (20%) | $200 |
| Jo keeps (80%) | $800 |
| Your referral share (5% of $1,000, paid from the fee) | $50 |
| What OmgFans keeps from the fee | $150 |
If Jo keeps that pace for 12 months, you earn $600 over the year without touching her income. If her month is smaller or larger, your share moves with it. Your earnings become available after the usual 7 day hold and go out with your weekly payout once you pass the $50 minimum, by bank transfer or crypto (USDT, USDC).
The 5% is counted on what fans pay the creator you referred, which is the same amount the 20% fee is taken from.
Who tends to refer creators
Creators with friends in the same niche, coaches who mentor others, and agencies that already help creators grow. If you manage several creators, the agencies page explains team roles and payout reports per creator.
